• “First visit here to Europa. Was treated to a 90's scene, complete with good music to fill out the atmosphere even further. Welcoming staff, unsure if the owner, but he was excellent. • “Eating here feels like showing up at your eccentric Greek uncle's house for dinner and he's thrilled you came hungry. Portions are just a suggestion, and you'll definitely go home with leftovers. Don't worry, he'll hand you the takeout containers himself. The menu is more of a conversation than a rulebook, if you've spent enough, a couple of free drinks might magically appear. The food? Absolutely fantastic. The décor? A wild mix of signs, Greek decor and personality that just adds to the charm. It ended up being one of the most memorable meals I've had with my husband & kids. Laughter, great food, and stories we'll never forget. A must-visit spot if you love good food and even better characters!”

Burger was delicious and very filling on its own, loved the cheese they used! Then, the small fries was a big bag of crispy, fat cut, nicely seasoned fries that fed 3 people and there's still some leftover! The staff were friendly and service was fast. The fish is fresh and fried perfectly, and the home made fries are still good the next day. In Winnipeg, this meal would cost $50+. The atmosphere and the building are honestly a bit quirky but that's part of the charm. It keeps the prices down.”

In this world of everyone cheaping out because the world has gotten so expensive, Europa goes in the opposite direction and gives you WAAAAYYY more than you would ever expect. I ordered the Titan Burger. $20 for a ridiculous three patty bacon cheese burger with onion rings and a small fries. Small fries is a lie. It would be considered two orders of large fries anywhere else. Insane amount of food. My father ordered the pickerel meal. I have never seen so much fish on one plate. Not deep fried. Pan fried. Wonderful! Comes with another order of insane fries. Staff was super friendly and checked in with us several times.”

The folks were so friendly; took care of our every need with condiments and paper plates and such to take back to our hotel. They were very patient with my indecisiveness (the menu has so many options!) and they prevented me from over-ordering (the portions are enormous!) where they COULD have let me order far too much and spend more money, they instead encouraged me to be conservative… and it still ended up being an ENORMOUS amount of food! Honestly for the cost of two McD combos, this place puts the chains to shame. Food is HOT, FRESH, HOMEMADE and GENEROUS AS HECK (a small fry easily feeds 2, or 3!)! I would come to Gimli just for that experience again: cool people making cool food. 10/10”
